Calla Studio Terms and Conditions

Punctuality and Courtesy

As arriving late may interfere with your treatment, please arrive on time. Occasionally we may run over, however, we always aim to finish treatments on schedule to allow prompt starts for all of our clients. All times stated include preparation of room and client: i.e. 5 minutes at the beginning and end of treatment.

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to treatment if it is your first appointment at the salon. We require this time for you to complete a personal consultation card, this document is 100% confidential and is used for treatment purposes only.

Reservation (Booking) Fees

Please note we charge a 25% booking fee for all appointments booked online, and all appointments over 2 hours in duration.

This booking fee is retained if there is cancellation less than 24 hours prior to the appointment time. If cancellation is over 24 hours we will move the fee to your next appointment.

This is to ensure that the salon can cover the salaries of the staff employed for the time that was booked out, that can not be re-booked for another client.


Please note 24 Hours’ notice is required for all cancellations, otherwise the booking fee of 25% of the total treatment price will be retained.  Cancellations should be made by calling us on 02380 474525.

Purchase of Retail Products

Beauty products must be paid for in full at time of purchase or ordering.

Prepaid Courses of Treatments

Have a validity of 12 months from date of purchase, unless otherwise stated.

Our Loyalty Reward Card

Loyalty points cannot be redeemed for cash, sold or transferred. Points are stored against your name on our booking system and can only be redeemed on certain treatments. The Points cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount.

Gift Vouchers

Gift Vouchers are non-refundable and have the expiry date stated on them. Vouchers may not be used after expiration dates, unless otherwise stated. Vouchers may be used for services only Tuesday to Saturday. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, sold or transferred. Your gift voucher number must be quoted at the time of booking and the voucher handed to the therapist at the start of your treatment. You are not under obligation to use the full value of your vouchers during one session. Late cancellation and “failure to show” terms as laid out above also apply to gift vouchers.

Price Alteration

We reserve the right to alter prices without prior notice.


Please note that it is illegal to smoke anywhere in the Salon.

Data Security

Personal details taken from clients during consultation procedures will be kept safe and in the strictest confidence. We would, on occasion like to send you details of open evenings and special promotions. If you would rather not receive these please let us know.

Medical Conditions

Please inform your therapist of any medical condition including pregnancy prior to booking as some treatments may not be appropriate for you.

Mobile Phones

In the interest of comfort of all our clients, please refrain from talking on a mobile phone and ensure it is switched off, or on silent, for the full duration of your time at the salon.


Please understand that we cannot accommodate children under 12 unless supervised by an adult during your treatment.


Salon Hygiene is, of course, the utmost importance and to achieve optimal cleanliness all our sterilisation equipment is approved by the local Environmental Health Officer. We use disposable equipment where necessary, and use full sterilisation for any equipment that is not disposable, following Industry guidelines.


Most credit and debit Cards are accepted, or cash. All prices include value added tax at a current rate.

Patch Testing

Patch testing required for clients who have not had a colour service, lash service, or brow tinting services with Calla Studio. If it is over 12 months since your last colour we also need to perform a patch test. Current guidelines (April 2021) also advise re-patch testing everyone as we re-open after the COVID-19 lockdown.

Personal Items

Please ensure you retrieve all your personal items before leaving the premises as we cannot be held responsible for lost items.
